Elizabeth is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has been in practice since 1978. She earned a B.S. and M.S. at the University of New Hampshire and SLPD at Nova Southeastern University. Doctoral dissertation research addressed nonverbal problem solving among children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Fagan has worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum, along with specializing in auditory processing disorders and cognitive processing disorders (working memory, processing speed, executive functions). She has worked in schools, consulted for schools and families, and provided lectures for physicians and psychiatrists. She is the director of the Fagan Center for Communication and is in the process of publishing the results of her research along with The Executive Function Profile (EFP).
